How to get there

By car

Tequila is located a little more than 60 km from Guadalajara, if you go by car; just use the following term to get to the festival or click to see it in your Waze, Google Maps, Apple Map browser: “FESTIVAL AKAMBA“, soon you will see signage that will guide you to the venue.

Plan your trip ahead of time and try to arrive early, the main access is narrow and you may encounter some traffic congestion.

At Akamba we have a parking area and large capacity to accommodate the cars of all our attendees.

We recommend you to share your car with more friends, this way you save fuel and help to reduce the environmental impact of the trip.

AKAMBA EXPRESS

Akamba Express is a train ride departing from Guadalajara, an experience aboard the Jose Cuervo Express, where you can dance and enjoy D’j sets and live acts, regional food and specialty cocktails, all while touring the majestic agave landscape.

  • Check in: 1:00 pm
  • Boarding: 1:30 pm
  • Jose Cuervo Express Station
  • Address: Circunvalación Agustín Yáñez 11, Moderna, 44190 Guadalajara, Jal.
    Important: the station does not have parking, we suggest you use your app. favorite mobility method to get there.
  • Return: multiple departures starting at 12:30 am. on the festival’s official transportation.

AKAMBA OFFICIAL BUS

We invite you to use our official bus service, safe and comfortable round trip, departing from Guadalajara to the festival and returning to the same point.

  • Origin: Av. San Francisco and Calz. Lazaro Cardenas.
    * Sanborns Parking Lot – La Gran Plaza.
  • Check in time: 1:15 pm
    * Continuous departures between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
  • Return time: Multiple departures starting at 12:30 a.m.
