Pedro Maia, best known as Mochakk, is one of the most visible names in Brazil’s new wave of club sound — a sharp selector with a physical, high-impact booth energy that’s become part of his signature. Hailing from Sorocaba near São Paulo, his sets pull from a wide palette (disco, funk, hip hop, and club) and translate it into a groove-led flow driven by real dancefloor reading. In recent years he’s built a global run with milestones like his Cercle set at Plaza de España in Seville, a DC-10 residency, and releases such as “Jealous” via Circoloco Records, alongside remixes for Groove Armada and Diplo.
