The train departs from the Jose Cuervo Express Station, located at
Av. Circunvalación Agustín Yáñez 11, Moderna, 44190 Guadalajara, Jal.
It is important to consider that the train station does not have a parking lot, we suggest you use your favorite mobility app to get there.
Yes, you just need to download and present your digital code both at the check in at the train station and at the main entrance of the festival.
Once you have purchased your ticket there are no refunds, if for any reason you are unable to attend, we suggest you place your ticket only with friends and acquaintances.

Yes, only adults (18+) are allowed to enter.
Yes, you will be asked for an official ID upon admission.
It is not allowed to bring any type of food or beverages, backpacks and bags will be checked.
As long as you have your ticket, you can enter from 3:00 pm until 2:00 am.
No, once your ticket has been scanned there will be no reinstatements.
THE FESTIVAL
We invite you to consult the festival regulations, recommendations and list of permitted objects. We recommend that you bring your digital ticket downloaded, as the cell phone signal may be intermittent.
Doors open at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 3 and the last performance ends at 6:00 am on Sunday, May 4.
Prior to the festival you will be able to find the schedules on all our official platforms and will be published in different media.
The festival has a parking lot to accommodate the cars of all our attendees. Please travel with at least 2 companions.
The area is suitable for people with reduced mobility. Although it is a wild terrain, it is a flat place where people in wheelchairs can move freely. However, we recommend that people with reduced mobility come accompanied by someone who can support them in case of any need.
Any lost or found items are reported to our production office. You can check with us via social media during and after the festival to find out if we found your belongings.
No, try to carry only what you need to be comfortable and protected.
Akamba operates under the cashless wristband mode, which can be recharged with debit, credit and cash cards at the different recharge points located in different areas.
Of course, we will have equipment ready to assist in any possible eventuality or incident. When you arrive at the festival, be sure to locate our modules and security points.
The use of laser pointers, professional cameras, glass bottles, cans, aerosols, drugs, prohibited substances and weapons of any kind is prohibited. For more information see our section on permitted objects.
Being a natural and desert area, consider that the hot weather prevails throughout the day and night, there may be untimely gusts of wind and dust, during the early morning the temperature drops. We recommend wearing sunscreen for the day and warm clothes for the night, wear comfortable and closed shoes.
We recommend arriving at 3:00 pm to enjoy the full festival experience. But if you plan to see a specific talent, you can arrive at least one hour before their performance.
We do not have ATM machines, so it is best that you come prepared with your debit or credit card, or enough cash to recharge your cashless wristband, as this is the only method of purchase for food and beverages.
Yes, the festival strives to offer a rich and wide variety of food and beverages.
Yes, you will always find projects that consider vegan, vegetarian and pescetarian options in their dishes.
Yes, you can enter your plastic or metal cylinder – not glass – as long as it is empty and has a maximum capacity of 750 ml.
A free hydration unit will be available from 3:00 pm and while supplies last.
The Journey
Akamba takes place in the agave fields of Jose Cuervo, just minutes from the Magical Town of Tequila, Jalisco.
Time is variable, depending on your location, traffic load or other factors, consider at least 90 minutes driving time from the metropolitan area. For more certainty, check your favorite social transit application on the day of the event by entering “FESTIVAL AKAMBA” as your destination.
Of course, it is very easy to get to Guadalajara either by land or by plane. If you buy your ticket in advance you can fly at very affordable costs.
Once in Guadalajara, you can use our official transportation system or get to the festival by different means, see more details in our section HOW TO GET THERE.
Not officially. The town has its own cab base; and there are some services and private vehicles that provide service, however, it is important to know that they are not official. We recommend that you call ahead if you want to request a cab.
Yes, these means of transportation will be able to access a special area of the venue, however, please note that these apps do not have consistent service or coverage in Tequila.
Yes, we offer a round trip bus route, departing from Guadalajara and returning to the same point.

Our official transportation departs from San Francisco Ave. and Lazaro Cardenas Ave.
