From renown hotel chains, to cozy options in Guadalajara, we’ll help you find the perfect option for your festival. Enjoy your stay with all comfort during the days of Akamba.
if you’re coming from outside Guadalajara, these are some of the options to ensure that your staying will be as comfortable as possible. As a festival we also provide an official bus drive from the city to the festival and back. Make sure to book your hotel room with some time in advance.
• Wear light clothing, as the daytime weather in the region can exceed 32ºC.
• Bring a jacket or sweater, as temperatures can drop at night. Don't underestimate it.
• Protect yourself from the sun; use sunscreen with a high protection factor, as well as caps, hats, and sunglasses.
• Consider that we are in the middle of a natural environment, at the foot of a volcano, surrounded by mountains and plateaus. There may be sudden gusts of wind and red dirt; bring your bandana or scarf.
• Wear comfortable and closed-toe shoes, as it is an outdoor space with desert-like ground.
• Before heading to the festival, check the list of prohibited items and substances.
• Check the schedules for each stage in advance.
• Upon arrival, locate the medical services area.
• Avoid pushing or throwing liquids into the crowd or onto the stage.
• Maintain a respectful attitude toward the environment and the natural elements around you.
• Treat all people at Akamba with respect, remembering that everyone has the right to enjoy the event in a safe and fun environment, free from physical or verbal abuse and free from sexist comments, actions, or behaviors.
• Akamba has a ZERO tolerance policy for sexual harassment and sexist behavior, applied to all staff, contracted companies, workers, artists, attendees, and anyone associated with the event.
• Dispose of trash properly and help us collect waste found outside of containers.
• Stay hydrated!
• Remember that once your ticket is scanned, there will be no re-entry if you leave the venue, so bring everything you need when you enter.
• Organize with your friends and plan your safe return home by assigning a designated driver or using our official bus.
